Bill Gates may now regret having any kind of relationship with Jeffrey Epstein (duh!), but the Microsoft billionaire is in Washington today to testify to the House Oversight Committee about his relationship with the late child predator.

Even Gates’ vast wealth couldn’t get him out of this one, although he did hire former House Oversight Committee lawyer Jake Greenberg to advise him. He said, going in, that he hoped his testimony would be helpful to get “justice for the victims.”

The grilling will be behind closed doors, and no doubt there will be the usual political jockeying between Democrats and Republicans on the committee, but we will be waiting outside the room to see what lawmakers have to say afterward.
